My Journey – From Farm Girl to Farmer’s Wife, Mom of Three, and Chaos Coordinator
I grew up on a farm with my parents and three older brothers, where life was never boring and chores were endless. Farm life toughened me up, taught me independence, and proved one thing: hard work pays off.
From house-cleaning lists scribbled on envelopes, to feeding animals in -30°C, to collecting eggs from angry chickens — the work was constant. I didn’t always love it, but I knew it had to be done (especially after Dad’s reminder that “chores don’t do themselves”).
Even as a kid, I dreamed of raising my own family on a farm. If my brothers didn’t take over, I couldn’t stand the thought of Dad’s legacy disappearing.
Then I met Michael in 2006 — a city boy who wasn’t exactly farm material at first. But over time, he fell in love with the life I always knew I wanted. We eventually moved back to my hometown, started our family, and welcomed Lenoxx (2016), Novah (2019), and Cyrus (2025).
Now we’re raising three kids, juggling the chaos of farm life, and learning the ropes of our family business with my dad still guiding us. It’s messy, exhausting, and caffeine-fueled — but it’s the life we love, and we wouldn’t change a thing.
