Tattooed, Pierced, and Proud Parents

We are the tattooed parents everyone stares at in public.

We are the pierced couple that some people quietly (or not so quietly) question our ability to parent.
But let me tell you this… our tattoos and piercings have absolutely nothing to do with how we raise our kids.
Our tattoos are our stories written on our skin — a timeline of the mountains we’ve climbed, the lessons we’ve learned, and the moments that shaped us into who we are today.

It’s wild how many people will stare, whisper, or throw judgmental looks because we don’t fit the “perfect parent” mold.
Listen here, Helga… just because you don’t like our art doesn’t mean you get to judge us for it. You don’t know our story, and you don’t know the roads we’ve walked.
Our tattoos are pieces of us — symbols of love, loss, strength, and growth.
We have our children’s names inked proudly, reminders of the biggest blessings we’ve ever received. Every design means something. Every mark tells a chapter.

And to the classic question — “How do you think you’ll look when you’re 80?”
I’ll tell you what, I think I’ll look like one freakin’ cool grandma.
This is why we teach our kids kindness.
Because judgment runs deep in a world that loves to assume.
Never judge a book by its cover — some of the kindest, most genuine souls you’ll ever meet might look like total badasses on the outside, but have hearts of gold underneath.
Get to know someone before you pass judgment.
Period.
